• Bettercaring is a subsidiary of the Stationary Office and official publisher of government information that will answer all your care home questions, concerns about paying for care, provide press articles and help you find the right nursing or residential home for you.

• Care Aware offers a web based information service, explains the care system and options available, helps in negotiating the care maze, state benefits and support, paying for care, news and current issues affecting the care industry. The site also offers a useful help line to deal with problems and questions relating to long term care.

• Care Homes provides a list of all care homes within the UK.

• Counsel and Care offers advice and help for older people, they have a strong interest in policy developments concerning older people. The policy staff also work hard to ensure that policy changes affecting people over 60 are filtered through to the advice team.
