The Home

Meadowcroft is a purpose built residential care home offering an excellent standard of accommodation and care. Situated in Bushbury, with easy access to Wolverhampton town centre and all amenities, it has picturesque views overlooking the park. The Home is modern and impressive with the latest in care accommodation. Our aim is to create a homely and comfortable atmosphere where residents can relax and enjoy the support, friendship and care that we provide.

Accommodation

All 17 residents have single bedrooms, of which 16 have en-suite facilities, ensuring maximum privacy. Private telephones can be connected to each bedroom if required and television points are provided. All rooms are centrally heated and double-glazed. Although tastefully decorated and furnished, residents may bring in their own items of furniture.

Meadowcroft has a large lounge and dining room, both of which overlook the park, as well as a quiet lounge. There are 2 additional bathrooms, which are adapted for disabled residents and a number of disabled toilets spread around the Home.

There is wheelchair access throughout the Home and an 8-person lift serves both floors. A staff call system operates in all bedrooms and common rooms with additional protection provided by fire alarm systems and secondary lighting.

The garden has a lawned area with herbaceous borders and bench seats spread around. There is a pathway around the garden to enable wheelchair access. Tubs are available for residents to plant in the summer.

Please note that Meadowcroft is registered to care for the elderly including those with dementia.
