Having been with SCL Care Ltd since 2005, I commenced my journey as Care Manager of Meadowcroft Residential Care Home, evolving and learning alongside the company's growth. SCL Care Ltd has been instrumental in recognising and fostering the potential of its staff, offering opportunities for career progression. The organisation values its long-serving staff, a testament to the supportive environment. I am pleased to have successfully navigated my career path, obtaining my Registered Manager’s Award qualification, and eventually taking on the role of Regional Manager for the company. Commencing my career in care at Woodlands Gate Rest Home in 1992, I embarked on a journey of learning and professional development. Attaining qualifications from Stourbridge College, MOST College, and achieving NVQ levels 2 and 3 in care, I expanded my expertise across hospital, domiciliary, and nursing home settings. Returning to Woodlands Gate in 2016, I found a sense of home and steadily ascended the ranks, ultimately becoming a trusted member of the management team. My commitment to our service users, coupled with obtaining a Level 5 in operational management, exemplifies my passion for the exceptional care provided at SCL Care Ltd. Caring is a unique vocation, and I take pride in contributing to the well-being of those in our care.

Since joining SCL Care Ltd in 2019, my role has been focused on upholding the company’s ethos of service, compassion, love and care. With a specialised degree in mental health and dementia, I bring extensive experience from various roles within elderly care settings. Throughout my career, including also working at Woodlands Gate Rest Home, what has remained constant is my passion for caring for the elderly. As the Care Manager of Redbrick Court, my objective is to ensure residents maintain a positive lifestyle with a sense of control and dignity. Collaborating with staff, residents, and relatives, I strive to promote SCL Care Ltd's commitment to enhancing the well-being of those under our care.
