Having been with SCL Care Ltd since 2005, I commenced my journey as Care Manager of Meadowcroft Residential Care Home, evolving and learning alongside the company's growth. SCL Care Ltd has been instrumental in recognising and fostering the potential of its staff, offering opportunities for career progression. I am pleased to have successfully navigated my career path, obtaining my Registered Manager’s Award qualification, and eventually taking on the role of Regional Manager for the company. Commencing my career in care at Woodlands Gate Rest Home in 1992, I embarked on a journey of learning and professional development. After achieving NVQ levels 2 and 3 in care, I expanded my expertise across hospital, domiciliary, and nursing home settings. Returning to Woodlands Gate in 2016, I found a sense of home and steadily ascended the ranks, ultimately becoming a Registered Manager before transferring to Redbrick Court in 2024. My commitment to our service users, coupled with obtaining a Level 5 qualification, exemplifies my passion for the exceptional care provided at SCL Care Ltd. Caring is a unique vocation, and I take pride in contributing to the well-being of those in our care.

My career in the health and social care sector began in 2004, and since then I’ve remained passionate about delivering high-quality care to the elderly. Through continuous learning and development, I have gained NVQ Levels 2, 3 and 5, as well as trainer qualifications in Dementia, Manual Handling, and the Care Certificate. My management experience spans domiciliary, residential, nursing, and complex care settings – including acquired brain injuries, Huntington’s Disease, and spinal conditions.
