Bedrooms

At Redbrick Court our bright and spacious bedrooms are decorated to create luxurious living spaces where Residents feel safe and happy. Each bedroom has its own flat screen TV with Freeview, comfortable seating, and lots of storage. A large number of bedrooms also enjoy modern en-suite shower rooms. We encourage our Residents to personalise their room with furniture, ornaments and photos to reflect their individual style and personality and to make it a home from home.

 

Our bedrooms combine all the creature comforts of home with carefully chosen assistive technology to provide an additional sense of security, including specially adapted lights, call systems and profiling beds.

 

The bedrooms are arranged along well lit, homely hallways that have been colour-coded and use signage that is both worded and pictorially illustrated, for easy recognition. There is wheelchair access throughout the Home and two shaft lifts serve both floors.

Facilities

With a wide range of on-site leisure facilities and a diverse choice of activities developed to enrich the lives of our Residents, Redbrick Court is a wonderful place to live. Little touches like beautiful vases and flowers, vintage style photographs and artwork adorning the walls, as well as our fantastic staff, make people feel instantly comfortable and at home.

 

Whatever the individual needs of our Residents, companionship is an important part of life across Redbrick Court and the cosy lounges provide spaces where people can meet with loved ones, mingle with other Residents, read, chat or simply watch the world go by. Residents can choose from the vibrant and stylish main lounge, or the relaxing and peaceful quiet lounge both with fireplaces and comfortable seating.

 

Alternatively our cinema lounge is the perfect place to enjoy a movie on the silver screen. A variety of films will be screened here on a daily basis, so Residents have the choice to watch what they want, when they want.

 

Our contemporary café lounge is the perfect place to meet friends and family, enjoy a good cup of coffee and taste some of our delicious, homemade savouries and cakes made freshly in our own kitchen.

 

Our salon is the perfect place to enjoy some pampering time, equipped with professional chairs, hair washing and hair drying facilities as well as a nail treatment table, so our Residents can enjoy a luxurious spa feel.

 

The light and airy indoor garden room features a continuous garden scene around the room, garden bench, artificial grass and even the sound of birds! Perfect for enjoying the feeling of being outdoors without going outside. Continuing with the sensory theme we also offer a sensory room with dark and light effects, perfect for relaxing.

 

A well-stocked and inviting library is available to feed your intellectual needs and imagination. Our library offers Residents a tranquil space for reading or enjoying some quiet time. An ever growing collection of fiction or non-fiction books, audio books and newspapers line the shelves, while large windows overlooking the front drive and street traffic make this a peaceful space for relaxation.

 

We know how important mealtimes are and like them to be a sociable part of the day, that can be enjoyed in our bright, elegant yet homely dining room, as well as the cafe lounge or individual bedrooms. We pride ourselves on the quality of our catering, serving tasty and wholesome food, prepared daily from fresh, seasonal ingredients. Our experienced chefs understand the nutritional requirements of older people and cater for Residents with a range of special dietary needs. We respect individual preferences and plan our menus in consultation with Residents to provide choice.

 

Gardens

The grounds of our home are designed to be fully accessible to all Residents. The mature garden has a patio as well as a lawned area and benefits from a delightful water feature. Outdoor seating and rest areas offer Residents plenty of opportunities to take a break and relax as needed, or spaces to simply stop and chat with friends in the peaceful setting. Well-lit and thoughtfully planned pathways ensure our garden is wheelchair accessible and easy and safe to walk around.
