Woodlands Gate is an exclusive care home for discerning elderly clients who seek something special. Situated in Pedmore, with easy access to Stourbridge town centre and all amenities, the Home is situated in a quiet residential road and has considerable charm and character.
The impressive building combines both modern and traditional interiors with an emphasis on stylish design in warm, welcoming rooms, and an excellent standard of accommodation and care.

Our highly experienced staff team are dedicated to making your stay, whether it be for a short break or on a more permanent basis, as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We are here to help every Resident live life the way they want, with our care and support which involves a lot of love, compassion and laughter.
Accommodation
The moment you arrive at Woodlands Gate you will experience a warm welcome and a relaxed, peaceful atmosphere. Our spacious lounges and corridors give the home a light and airy feel, and a sun lounge with garden views is a special feature. Little touches like beautiful vases and flowers, vintage style photographs and artwork adorning the walls, as well as our fantastic staff, make people feel instantly comfortable and at home.
The 20 Residents are accommodated over 18 single bedrooms, and 1 shared bedroom, all with washing facilities, and a large number with en-suites. All rooms are centrally heated and double-glazed. Although tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard, Residents are actively encouraged to participate in the decoration and personalisation of their own bedroom with their choice of furniture and upholstery.
Woodlands Gate has a large dining room, a TV lounge, a sun lounge and a quiet lounge. There is wheelchair access throughout and a 5-person lift serves both floors. There are 2 bathrooms, both of which are adapted for disabled residents, as well as a number of disabled toilets spread around the Home. A staff call system operates in all bedrooms and common rooms with additional protection provided by fire alarm systems and secondary lighting.
The mature garden has a patio as well as a lawned area with herbaceous borders. In addition the garden benefits from a delightful water feature. There is a pathway around the garden to enable wheelchair access, with a number of benches. Tubs are available for Residents to plant in the summer.
